Do you offer free estimates?

Yes! We provide all estimates at no cost.

Can I schedule work on weekends or holidays?

Absolutely. We understand that many households are busy during the week, so we’re happy to accommodate weekend and holiday appointments.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

It depends on the project. Some jobs are billed hourly, while others are priced as a flat rate. Russell will determine the best option during your free consultation.

Do I need to buy my own materials?

For items based on personal style—such as light fixtures, faucets, toilets, shelves, ceiling fans, tile, or laminate flooring—we recommend you purchase them yourself.
For technical materials—such as drywall, wiring, junction boxes, and repair-specific parts—we typically source them to ensure accuracy and quality.
If you prefer, we can give you a shopping list so you can purchase everything yourself.

We also offer delivery of materials for a small fee. Materials we purchase include a 35–50% markup to cover taxes and delivery (far lower than the 200–300% markups common in the industry). For larger items like doors, windows, and large paint orders, we recommend that customers buy directly to save money.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, ACH bank transfers, and credit/debit cards. Please note: a 3% processing fee applies to card payments for jobs over $500.

Can I pay my invoice in 30 or 45 days?

No. Payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice. We do not offer NET 15, 30, or 45 terms. Invoices unpaid after 30 days incur a 15% late fee, applied every 30 days thereafter, plus any applicable card processing fees.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not necessarily. However, we prefer someone 18 or older be present. If you won’t be home, we can arrange access and secure the property when finished. Out-of-state customers can receive photos of the completed work via email.

If paying by check and you’re not present, please leave payment on-site or request an emailed invoice (due upon receipt).

How do I book an appointment?

Call or email us to schedule. We generally have availability within 1–4 weeks, depending on the season.
Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM:

  • Small jobs: booked no later than 3 PM

  • Large jobs: booked no later than 2 PM
    We do not schedule after-hours work (5 PM–7 AM).

Do you require a deposit?

Only for special-order or high-cost materials (e.g., doors, windows, flooring, paint) over $100. Refunds may be subject to supplier restocking fees.
